The workshop space contains fully integrated manufacturing facility for BELOFLEX Bellows type Expansion Joints. With all manufacturing processes under our direct control, we can ensure our customers to get the optimum quality. We have full range of the latest equipment including Hydro Punch Forming machines, and high quality welding machines for the manufacturing of convolutions, pipe ends, flanges and other components. B. D. Engineers makes extensive use of computer facilities to select the perfect type and profile of the bellows required in its application. The desired profile of the bellows convolutions are produced by Mechanically Rolling or Hydraulically Punch Forming a tube consisting of one or more plies of material to the required wall thickness. After Forming, end connections are welded to the BELOFLEX Bellows Expansion Joints. Various types of restrain devices to control the amount and direction of movement can be fitted when required. In most applications internal sleeves are incorporated to streamline the flow and protect the convolutions.

    BELOFLEX traditionally puts a high value on its Quality Assurance System with stringent checks at every stage of manufacture to meet the ultimate goal of ZERO REJECTION. Every bellows application has a critical nature, thus BELOFLEX considers that Bellows Expansion Joints should be manufactured to a high standard from top quality materials supplied to rigid specifications. Every material used in the manufacture of bellows convolutions is subjected to welding and forming test prior to release of manufacture. Throughout each stage of manufacture all tests are made to ensure that the requirements of the Quality Assurance Plan are being met with. On completion, the bellows are hydraulically tested. Gas and vacuum tests are included whenever necessary.
